My Counsel

He sits upon the heavens, stronger than any man.
His strength is beyond man, even beyond the ficticious imagination of men he goes.
Because the things he is about to do, men can't comprehend, they doubt.
Some doubt his word, some even his existence, therefore the wisest
Of men with all their knowlege are of less use than trees.
For the trees, bow down before him, and the very grass so low,
Tremble at his presence.

Look up to the heavens, you meek, and watch the stars, proud glow,
Shouting his existence to all.
The very sky, deep and blue, roar with awe, of his mightiest,
So men are as nothing.
Calmly the earths waters and mighty rivers, strong as they be,
Bubble forth the fact of his being.
The animals that walk the earth or swim the waters below the earth,
Each in his own way, tell of the one who created, and yet the wisest of men
Are searching for their beginning.

Who is wise among men, look up, look around you, Jehovah is there.
Are the unimportant things of the earth to be counted wise above men,
Their keeper?
Are men, in all their wiseness and knowlege, leaving the praise of his
Gloriousness and power, to the lowly trees.
Why are men, with their gift of speech, forsakening the shouting of praise and
Worship of a life giver, to waste their time talking of dead things.

The knowlege of men is dying and their very thoughts are about to perish,
And still they ignore Jehovah.
They ignore him for the sake of wealth and its power.
They put themselves in high places and oppress the meek.
In the eyes of men, they are powerful, and yet, they are ignorant,
Poor and lower than dirt.
They exalt the low things of the earth above them,
For they fail to acknowlege anyone more powerful than they.
The wise men are giving their attention to themselves,
Rather than to the one who demands undivided attention,
And he turns his needed attention away from them.

Seek Jehovah, you who are truly wise, give your undivided attention.
Be meek before him. Shout forth praise to him,
And acknowlege his existence for Jehovah is all power.
To fear him is wise, and praise him; he will exalt you.
